Something Photography has Changed

    Since photography was created, its popularity and prevalence has grown exponentially. In the past couple decades with the introduction of cell phones with cameras built in, that growth has been even more so. Most all people are actively equip with cameras at any given moment which has changed the way the world works. Confidentiality is a huge issue that arrises with this in mind. Cell phones have become an extra appendage for most in this day and age, so asking people to put their phone away to view something such as test answers or something unreleased is easier said than done. People are constantly taking photos, so "leaked information" is a constant issue.
    It can be scary to think that there is constantly a camera pointed at you, but in most places and on most days, there is.

Exercise: Two Dozen

       In terms of my images, they differ mostly due to one of the locations being interior and the second being exterior. There is a greater difference in the images at the second location, and I believe that to be the case because I was more interested in the lighting of that location therefore was more eager to find interesting lighting in a wider variety of subjects. I don't necessarily believe that the images became easier or harder to shoot, I think this exercise just caused me to shift what I was looking at during shooting.

Exercise - Two Dozen

      While my first set of images were taken in the city with lots of buildings on every corner, I feel that I did better in my second set which is taken in Cameron Park. I took more time to look for the right shots and really took the time to think about different perspectives. On my first set, I stood the entire time not changing my level. The second set, I remembered that I could bend my knees and get lower. I think this happened because there was not a lot going on in nature like there is in the city, so it pushed me to get different kinds of perspectives. I also think I was more relaxed on the second set and felt comfortable with the objective. The images got increasingly harder to shoot because I got all of the big central objects done first. I focused first on the most important visual aspects first. This led me to take more time for the little things that I might've  missed.
